Masonthrope The drums, guitars, and vocalist come across as having great chemistry, and each track is so tightly composed there isn't a single dull moment in any of them. This album has them leaving behind some of their shoegaze-y sounds in exchange for more dynamic riffing, which I found even more compelling with the new mix having the drums sound punchier. Dan's voice was the most expressive to date on here, making the anguished and sometimes spiteful lyrics impossible to ignore. A 10/10 record IMO. Favorite track: Everyone's A Stranger.
